WARRANTY POLICY
1. Warranty Coverage
Eligible YOKEN products are covered by the warranty applicable to the relevant product and model.
The exact warranty period is stated on the:
- Warranty certificate.
- Product documentation.
- Invoice, where applicable.
- Official product information supplied with the purchase.
Customers should retain the purchase invoice and warranty certificate. The Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency also recommends retaining invoices and written warranty documentation for durable products.
2. Warranty Period
Warranty periods may differ between products and models.
The warranty applicable to a specific product begins according to the date and conditions stated in its official warranty documentation and applicable law.
3. What the Warranty May Cover
Subject to the applicable warranty terms, warranty service may include defects relating to manufacturing, materials, or components that occur during normal use.
Depending on the nature of the issue and applicable terms, service may involve:
- Product inspection.
- Repair.
- Replacement of eligible defective parts.
- Other remedies required under the applicable warranty terms or law.
4. Warranty Exclusions
To the extent permitted by law, warranty coverage may not apply to damage caused by:
- Misuse or improper operation.
- Failure to follow the operating instructions.
- Incorrect installation.
- Repair or modification by an unauthorized person or service center.
- Accidents, impacts, or physical damage attributable to the customer.
- Improper transportation after delivery.
- Improper storage.
- External electrical causes where not covered by the relevant warranty.
- Use of the product for purposes inconsistent with its intended use.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
5. Authorized Service
Where required under the applicable warranty, inspection, maintenance, or repair should be carried out by YOKEN or an authorized service provider.
Customers should not attempt unauthorized repair where doing so may affect product safety or warranty coverage.
6. Warranty Claim Requirements
When requesting warranty service, customers may be asked to provide:
- Purchase invoice or order number.
- Warranty certificate.
- Product model.
- Product serial number where applicable.
- Description of the problem.
- Photos or videos where reasonably necessary.
7. Repairs and Spare Parts
Where a repair is covered by warranty, the service will be handled according to the warranty certificate, applicable standards, and consumer protection requirements.
The Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency states that warranty documentation for applicable products should define the warranty undertaking and that covered repair obligations include the relevant repair, maintenance, and eligible replacement-part costs according to the applicable warranty requirements.
8. Repeated Defects
Where applicable consumer-protection rules or mandatory standards provide additional rights in cases of repeated defects or repairs, those rights will remain available to the customer.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits mandatory rights granted under Egyptian law.
9. Warranty and Returns
Warranty claims are separate from the customer's statutory return and exchange rights.
A customer may therefore have rights under the Return & Refund Policy or applicable consumer law even where a matter is not handled as a standard warranty claim.
